Meeting Times and Location

Serrans meet for the First Friday Mass at 7.00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church followed by a breakfast meeting. The Executive meets on the Tuesday before each First Friday. Serrans also meet and attend Diocesan Adoration at various Parishes throughout the year.

Members

Members consist of married couples and single men and women. New members are always welcome. Our Club roster presently stands at 51 members.

Annual Dues

Annual dues are $260 for a married couple and $160 for a single person.

Annual Club Activities

The Club’s major annual activities include:

  • The Archbishop’s Altar Servers Awards for two servers from each Parish
  • An Appreciation Dinner for all the Clergy of the Archdiocese
  • Annual Golf Tournament for all the Priests of the Archdiocese
  • Support and assist the World Day of Consecrated Life.
  • Support and assist the Archdiocese for the St. John Vianney Fund for Seminarians
  • Organize an annual Ordinandi Dinner to support Seminarians and raise funds
  • Serrans act as ushers for all major diocesan events at the Cathedral
  • Work closely with the Vocation Director’s Office for all vocation related programs in the Archdiocese
  • Make sandwiches for the poor and homeless at The Door is Open
  • Serrans attend an annual three days retreat in Mission.
  • Fund The Jack Mills Bursary, named after one of our founding Members, to provide two annual bursaries for Seminarians of the Archdiocese
  • Provide an annual award for the Seminarian Oratory Contest held at Christ the King Seminary in Mission
  • Our Members also serve on the Regional and National Committees.
